Appearance Swiftclaw's pelt is thick and blue-grey, fluffed up around his neck in a very intimidating manner. His fur makes him look menacing, not just in the way it's long and thick like a lion's mane but in the fact that it's punctuated with long, menacing scars. His eyes are faded green and narrowed in a perpetual sneer. He's built thick and strong, his claws long enough that even when his claws are sheathed the tips point past the fur. Everything about his appearance is menacing, but there's a deep pride under his fur that makes him a powerful and able warrior. Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M PROUD AND INTIMIDATING Personality Swiftclaw is a fearsome cat. Apprentices and young warriors fear him, and senior warriors grudgingly respect him. He's so severe he's almost heartless, but his soft spot exists purely for his young mate. Of her and his only kit he is protective, caring, and understanding. To his daughter, he can be harsh, but educative. He does not tolerate foolishness, and will reprimand any cat who is being kitlike in nature. He speaks his mind with conviction and severity and cares not if other cats are shocked or disgusted by his opinion. The Warrior Code is his law of life. Any cat that dares to break it does not deserve to live in his Clan. He cannot stand cats that are not Clanborn, even halfClan cats. They disgust him and he wishes them all to leave the territory...or die. He stands firm to this belief and refuses to be swayed. History Swiftclaw was born to a pair of calm, code-abiding cats. He was raised to believe in the laws of their Clan, and to follow them every pawstep of his life. He took these words to heart, and used his abilities to his best advantage as a Clan cat, a warrior, and a brilliant tom. There was no boundary he wouldn't cross to become powerful. As a bright-eyed, ambitious apprentice, he fancied a young she-cat named Maplepaw. They shared a belief in the Code, and became quite close. And yet, one day, she mysteriously died. Almost instantly, another she-cat, Birdpaw, came to his side. After they became warriors, he and Birdpaw, now Birdfeather, had a single kit. Owlkit was a brilliant young soul whose ambition for learning was unmatched by any other kit, and he taught her all he knew, and taught her to respect and live by the Warrior Code. And yet, it was his love for the Code that was his downfall: he became too ambitious, too desperate to uphold the Code.
