Why do you shun me for who I am?
FOR I AM CLOVERWIND of the great FrostClan
Age twenty moons Gender female Rank warrior
How can I hide in the shadows of the unknown?
WHEN MY PELT IS TORTOISESHELL and my eyes are minty green
Scars none Appearance Cloverwind has a sassy look to match her sassy personality. A medium-length pelt is wrapped around her thin frame. It’s thick, though not exactly long. Silky and smooth, it flows with the wind, making her quite stunning, although those thoughts disappear when you hit her personality. Well, it really depends on who you are looking at her. Ack, excuse me. I’m drifting off topic. We’ll be discussing her personality in a moment. Now, dearie, let’s get back to how little Cloverwind looks.
That thick, flowy fur or hers happens to be a tortoiseshell pattern. It’s that dusty charcoal grey color, painted all over, although her pelt tends to be a bit darker than the average. Actually, it’s a bit closer to a black, especially her paws, which are the darkest part of all of her. They’re not small, but you can’t really call them large. All over her pelt are splashes of tan. Her claws are extremely long, longer than most cats’, and dark gray. Her pads are rough and leathery, black in color. Mint green eyes contrast from Cloverwind’s visage, and everything is topped off with a small pink nose and large pointed ears.
Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M SASSY AND INDEPENDENT
Personality Okay, so it's already been established that Cloverwind is a bit of a sassafras. As an apprentice, it wasn't uncommon for one to find her in the elders' den, cracking ticks and biting fleas as punishment for talking back to her superiors. Although she's always been one to talk back, it's only because she has a hard time seeing things in anyway but hers. Also, she has a need for independence. Being told what to do doesn't fly well with her. She speaks loudly with thick usage of ebonics, sometimes causing her to sound a bit more sassy than she intends.
She might be a bit annoying at times, but Cloverwind is just a bit of a troubled soul. She's led a strange and rough life, consisting of quite a bit of death. If you were to ever find her crying, she'd probably suck up the sniffles and tell you she was perfectly fine. Weakness is something she doesn't like to show. But her spirit is tender, and she's easily heartbroken, whether she shows it or not. She has a very hospitable and caring side to her that usually only shows around kits.
All in all, she's a pretty nice cat. You should talk to her sometime. Preferences LIKES: independence, kits, scratching things, basically anything that involves claws (like climbing trees). DISLIKES: being looked down upon, being told what to do, showing weakness. Secret Ambitions to become a wonderful mother to one or two litters of kits. Strengths/Weaknesses STRENGTHS: strong, brave, can keep calm when others need reassurance, motherly. WEAKNESSES: easily hurt, doesn't always listen when she needs to, can't easily see the other side of the argument.
How am I punished for what my kin has done?
EVEN IF MY PARENTS ARE CHARMCASTER AND FALLENBRANCH
Family fallenbranch father charmcaster mother alphawolf brother Event that Lead to being a Warrior Killed a fox on Clan territory. History There was Fallenpaw and Charmpaw. Fallenpaw was a handsome young tom of FrostClan, a dark brown tabby with forest green eyes. He was quite the cat about town in his Clan, having that boyish charm and being great at fighting and hunting. He accepted the crushes he got and acknowledged them, but there was never the perfect she-cat for him. And then one day while patrolling alone on the AshClan border that he met her.
Charmpaw. She was named for the absolute beauty that she possessed. Medium-length tortoiseshell fur and sparkling blue eyes made her fairly attractive. She had a bit of an attitude, spunky but caring and sweet. The moment they met eyes, they knew they were meant for each other. But the Clan boundaries kept them wary. How long could they live in such a way?
Fallenpaw became a warrior, taking on the name of Fallenbranch. Charmpaw followed shortly after, becoming Charmcaster. They didn’t meet for a few moons, but when they finally did, Charmcaster announced that she was pregnant. She had been for two moons. Her belly was swelling. But Fallenbranch didn’t seem as happy as he tried to be. It turned out the he’d found himself a mate in FrostClan. And on that day, she happened to follow him. It was Russetwing. Charmcaster was outraged, killing Russetwing. But when she lunged for Fallenbranch, she dropped to the ground, going into labor.
There was too much blood. Charmcaster didn’t survive the birth, and with Fallenbranch the only cat to clean them, only two survived. He dubbed the tortoiseshell she-kit Cloverkit and the dark brown tabby tom like himself Alphakit. He brought them home to FrostClan, where they were raised to become fine apprentices. He lied to that their mother was Russetwing, loyal warrioress of FrostClan, who died giving birth to them in the woods.
Alphapaw and Cloverpaw were nearing the end of their apprenticeship. They went out one day on a walk, since their duties had kept them from getting to talk very much. But the talk went from leisurely to terrifying -- they scented a fox hole. A bit too late. There was no time to run back and alert the Clan; the beast had already left its burrow, approaching the two siblings. With bravery, they attacked. By the end of the battle, only Cloverpaw was left to tell the story.
She returned home with Alphapaw's broken and bleeding body, proclaiming how bravely he fought to keep his Clan safe. As he was buried, they honorably named him Alphawolf. Cloverpaw was given the name Cloverwind, but the pride of graduating to warriorhood was dampened by her brother's death and her father's unexplained suicide that followed soon after. It was assumed that the loss of family he had experienced was too much for him. She lives on, having been a warrior for less than a year, struggling but succeeding in staying strong.
You call me by the name I’ve lied I meet in secret with those who’ve died Though life is not’ but treachery This life is all the life in me
