This was slightly strange, though. Her attitude towards living with other cats hadn’t changed. In fact she had become friendlier with cats from other clans, and was living life as a medicine cat! This was like home. Being able to trust everyone, and getting along with your den-mates, things of that nature! Living in the medicine cat’s den was an adventure all in itself! The lush scent of herbs, and the comforting scent of her fellow AspenClan medicine cats, even her mentor, it was more like home every minute. But instead of being in the medicine cat’s den this day, Westwind was out and about looking for herbs. Why? Because even in StarClan cats needed medicine! Plus she didn’t want to become useless if something should happen. Like, one of the apprentices needed her help or something… she’d hate to feel useless to someone. Trotting along the identical paths she used to take when she was a medicine cat apprentice, Westwind looked for anything that would help her remember the usefulness of … whatever herb might be useful. It was more than likely that she was looking for someone to talk to. It could get rather lonely and there were never any young apprentices about these days. It was so strange. “Ah well. The younger generations are always looking for excuses to pardon their ancestors.” Westwind mumbled to herself, sniffing at some growing Juniper. Her yellow eyes darted around the forest.
