Barely muffled noises reached her ears and caused the earth to tremor ever so slightly. At this, Silverclaw’s head turned but her paws remained firmly planted in the soil of the forest. Dark silhouettes crept up to greet her. As they stepped out from beneath a wall of tree branches, the moon’s weak light illuminated their bodies, painting splashes of silver onto their dark fur. She gave a cool nod, her dark eyes flicking. She hunched over and scooted closer into the shadows until she was no more than a wavering black shape that melted in the surrounding darkness. Only her eyes glimmered in the semi-darkness. They revealed nothing of her thoughts as the two Warriors approached.
Lightningfoot and Raggedclaws, what a striking pair they made. The two cats resembled each other so closely they might have been brother and sister. They had sooty black fur and gleaming eyes the hue of the full moon. As they neared, they’re sun-drenched eyes glittered with fury. Silverclaw managed to meet this hostile glare unblinkingly. Words, distorted with anger, floated towards her. She caught the words “Creektwist”, “useless”, and “tear his throat out”. She contemplated this for a while as the burly tom aimed a question at her. She blinked hard before replying. In a tone that was almost musical in quality, she returned, “Seems I’m not the only one who wishes him gone.” She sighed a little, licking the fur along her front legs. “Look, I want what’s best for this Clan. And to me, Thunderstripe is best. I only hope I can convince Creektwist and Icestar of this. If you truly want him gone, I can help.”
Her voice seemed to be completely truthful, probably because she didn’t lie about a thing, though she had exaggerated considerably. She cared that the Clan was run well, that Thunderstripe was worthier, and that she was willing to assist Raggedclaws in replacing their current deputy. But she also had her own intentions, though they didn’t involve her taking over the Clan. For why would she? What was she to gain of this? She gazed again into Raggedclaws’ harsh yellow eyes. Her eyes grew wet but she struggled to shove away all thoughts of her unknown family. She would eventually find them after leaving AspenClan, and now was not the time to think of it. She needed to concentrate on getting Creektwist replaced first.
Silverclaw’s gaze slipped to Thunderstripe, her latest recruit. It was a dull and blank stare. She hoped that these two bothersome Warriors wouldn’t destroy all her hopes and plans. She didn’t give up her leisure times only to have her hard work being wasted like this. “Please, I only wish to help,” she said, desperation beginning to creep into her voice. Her glance asked for compassion but she had the feeling there would be none. There was never compassion for the sinners. But weren’t they all?
“Silverclaw speaks” Silverclaw thinks Silverclaw does
Word Count; 485 Tags; Thunderstripe, Lightningfoot, and Raggedclaws OoC; It would be so interesting if Raggedclaws decides to help her (with Lightningfoot disapproving) but you probably have different plans. And I thought Ragged initially liked Silver…? Oh well, it might be better this way.

Thunderstripe's ear twitched as she heard something in the bushes, she was alert, but pretended not to notice, slowly she lifted her tail and turned around to see Raggedclaws. He came into the clearing, ranting on about apprentices, Thunderstriped feigned interest as she kept her ears down and tried to look innocent. Her ears shot up at the question,
"I had trouble sleeping...came out for a walk, met Silverclaw and we decided to talk, we were actually planning an early morning hunt."
Thunderstripe said, coolly, the lies slipped out of her mouth easily as she turned the question around on Raggedclaws,
"And what are you two...?"
She paused, as if to imply a secret that may be revealed about the two, Remain cool, try to shake him. Thunderstripe thought, her eyes lit up as she continued "doing, sneaking around so early?"
She said, her violet eyes flickering with a challenge, silent, but there, for him to keep his nose out of her business.

Raggedclaws’s nose wrinkled with irritation. So now she was questioning him? Whatever...
“If you didn’t pick up on it yet,” he growled, “I came out to get some peace from those chaotic Apprentices that some stupid cat can’t control early in the morning. You sure your ears are working?” Yes, he was rude, and he was known for it. He was strong; and probably not able to be taken down easily in battle – he’d only been ‘beaten’ once, though it was a tie, and he’d fought too many cats that he cared to count. “I swear if that cat doesn’t get his act together, I’m going to claw him myself. I can do a better job than he can just by staring at the Apprentices for a heartbeat.”
Well he needed to keep the conversation going. A stray bee hovered over to him and he growled at it, not in the mood for some stupid little insect to be annoying him. He simply moved it out of the way with his tail and plodded toward Thunderstripe. “Planning an early hunt? So why are you doing it here and not in camp, where there are actual cats that you can take with you?” His voice was laced with suspicion now. He knew that the she-cat was lying, because he trusted Lightningfoot to tell the truth. “You want to stop talkin’ the stuff that comes out of yer tail end, kitty cat, or am I going to have to get my claws out? Because I’m not happy as it is and I’m looking for something to become my next chew toy. I wouldn’t mind. Would you?”
Doing (Absolutely nothing. -is glared at by Raggedclaws-) Speaking (Speaking? More like threatening... -is backed into a corner-) Thinking (Well technically I don't need this because Raggedclaws DOESN'T THINK -is clawed-) "Your cat talking" (Your cat's still alive? HOW DOES THAT WORK!? RAGGEDCLAWS, GET HIM/HER/IT!)
