Ottermask had been rather proud of Dovekit, as she went to help Horizon, only to have essentially passed out and woken up with the kit curled around her. "I am fine, go back into the den and help Horizon, I promise I will come visit you once I can," she said rising slowly, on shaky paws as Lightningfoot scolded her. Looking to the she-cat she growled, "Do not scold me when I was merely defending a kit, instead why not scold him for attacking a clan mate, she hissed wishing she had the strength to rake her claws over Lightningfoot's pretty muzzle.
Slowly she made her way to the medicine cat's den sitting outside it, relieved she could no longer smell fresh blood. Her body wreathed with anger as Lightningfoot had defended a cat attacking his own clan mate. She prayed Icestar would grant them both a just punishment. Breathing deeply her sighed ached, mostlikely a broken rib, at the most. She hoped. Flicking her gaze towards the two she snorted in disgust and also hoped Dovekit would do as told and help Horizon and ignore her. She did not need the kit to be anymore worried than she already was.

RAGGEDCLAWS"Sanity...? Worthless things like that, I never had them for as long as I can remember!" Suddenly Lightningfoot appeared and Raggedclaws turned slowly to face the small black she-cat, watching her drop the prey. As she rushed over to check Ottermask, who was still half-embedded in the Apprentices den, he felt boredom settle into his mind again and he let out a sound that was half-growl, half-groan. Dovekit was there also, looking at him with horror in her irises, which didn’t surprise him. Who wouldn’t think Raggedclaws was a nut after practically smashing his Clanmate into a den, and destroying it in the process? “It does serve her right,” Raggedclaws muttered bluntly, staring at Lightningfoot with clear boredom in his eyes. “Every cat knows if you tick me off, you get shoved through a den and I ain’t cleaning it up afterwards.” He said. However, as soon as Lightningfoot’s eyes locked with his, he seemed to calm down somewhat. His eyes searched hers for their emotions; admiration, fear, and pride, and perhaps a few other minor things. “Whatever she said,” Raggedclaws muttered, “She knows to keep her filthy trap shut next time.” And with that, Raggedclaws turned to order Dovekit to go back into the Nursery and help change Horizon’s bedding, but a small lump of sticks hit his shoulder and he turned to see Lightning foot taking charge of the situation. “I ain’t cleaning it up, Lightningfoot,” he growled. It was half of the fact that he didn’t want to, but also that he couldn’t. “I’m too strong. Last time I tried, I ended up tearing more holes in the den, and before that the sticks broke in my jaws.” Then his ears caught the angry sound of Ottermask taking her anger out on Lightningfoot, and the ebony tom barged forward. "You want to repeat that, runt?" He snarled, claws unsheathing and tail fur bristling. "How about I send you crashing through a few more dens, eh? Get to that Medicine Cat's den and shut your maw, or I'll come over there and shut it for you."

She glanced back to make sure Ottermask was heading to the medicine den, then ran into the nursery.
“I’m here to get you new bedding…” Dovekit scuffed her paws in shyness, “Do you know where I could get some?” Dovekit watched Horizon and her noticeably full belly. “Who was their father?” Dovekit asks curiously. She then notices the queens sticking out ribs and her exhausted face. Dovekit glances around the den, Only two more moons then I’m out of here! She takes in her messy moss nest sitting in the corner of the den. She looks over at the apprentice den. Dovekit lashes her tail in excitement. Then she looks at herself and Dovekit sees her muddy paws. Sighing, “more to clean,” she mutters to herself. Dovekit looks up at Horizonshine with her hazel eyes and begins moving the old moss outside, grabbing some fresh moss she saw growing in the roots of a tree, and airing out the new moss. As she dries it she pushes it into the nursery and makes up two nests, one for Horizonshine and one for herself. Spreading out the new soft moss, making sure there are no thorns, she meows politely,
“There’s your new bed… There aren’t any thorns…” Dovekit walks away, going outside into the weak sun.
"You don't know what it's like to have your father wish you were dead." ~Dovekit

Lightningfoot sighed at them all in general. "Fine Raggedclaws." She said. "Your friend is waiting for you. Don't smash the dens please." She turned to Dovekit. "Good job, thanks Dovekit." She told the little kit. She then turned to Ottermask. "Sorry." She quickly said. Then she padded out of camp before she could be a nuisance.

Could Raggedclaws be any angrier? No, probably not, but that was even more reason to run. His golden eyes blazed with the intensity of a thousand suns, and those irises were locked solely on Ottermask. How dare she talk to Lightningfoot like that? The ebony tom’s claws slid out into the ground, but for a moment he stood there glaring menacingly at the she-cat, his fur on ends, showing a few of his scars, but he decided that it wasn’t the time for fighting. How, you ask? Why would Raggedclaws refuse a fight? It was because Lightningfoot was upset and because he doubted Dovekit wanted to watch a massacre unfold in the camp. She was so young; he wasn’t going to do anything. He would later, though, and when he did, he’d tear down anything that stopped him.
“You’d better watch your back, runt,” the tom bared his teeth, his claws glinting in the bright light. “Because next time you see me, I’ll be rearranging your face.” No cat would be stupid enough to try and stand up to Raggedclaws, would they? Sure, he was a thug and a nuisance, but he was also the best fighter in AspenClan and their ticket to ensuring their own safety... Well, so long as they kept Horizon out of the problems, he didn’t care what they did. The gargantuan tom swung around and began plodding after Lightningfoot, his ears flat and claws churning up the earth behind him. He’d find Lightningfoot and make sure she was okay...
Doing (Absolutely nothing. -is glared at by Raggedclaws-) Speaking (Speaking? More like threatening... -is backed into a corner-) Thinking (Well technically I don't need this because Raggedclaws DOESN'T THINK -is clawed-) "Your cat talking" (Your cat's still alive? HOW DOES THAT WORK!? RAGGEDCLAWS, GET HIM/HER/IT!)

Silversoul came into the clearing as Raggedclaw threat OttermAsk.. She let out a growl and stood above Dovekit and Next to OttermAsk. She glared at the brute.. She wasn't afraid of the tom like others. She snarled. "Ragedclaw don't you dare ever let me hear you talk about about your clanmates. Nor do I want to see them hurt by your claws. Show some respect!" She turned her glaze to Dovekit. She moved aside and swiped her tail down next to the kit. As medicine she dislike like fighting and especially among her own clan. ShE swiped her tail angry. She turned and looked back at RaggedclAw. "Icestar will surely hear about this. Lightingfoot do you really defend this brute who attacked their own clanmate. Raggedclaw, you should show respect. You have a kin here who needs your support. Your not being supportive."
Hollypaw popped out of the apprentice den. She looked confused. She shrugged, last thing she need was to get involved with this. She pushed out of the den and headed to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a mouse and ran back to the apprentice den. She crouched down by herself and began to nimble on the young mouse.

Sandkit had been in the elders' den --not by force of course, some stupid warrior had hustled him into that upsetting, stinky arena, and trust me, he was having no fun listening to their boring stories about how great they were being apprentices and then warriors. Keh! Who cares? he thought to himself out of spite. Why would he even bother? It was useless, useless information, there was nothing to do in this boring place, and his paws just itched to flee and run to the nearest stream or river. Yeah, there he could actually see something different, do something other than sit and do apprentice jobs --which, by chance, he would be doing for the rest of his puny, shortened life. If only he had siblings, if only his parents were alive and thought better of him, of only he had some sort of friends, if, if, if' but 'if' wasn't going to get him very far in life if he kept to imaging things and never making them happen, yet, as hotheaded he was in his inner core, the thought of being rejected, like his parents did to him, was still the first layer on is mind whenever he tried to make friends.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a flash of white run past the den, and then back, and then back. Who in StarClan's name is that? Waving goodbye to the elders, or rather, dismissing himself quite rudely, he stalked out of the den, curious to find the white ball of fur, and relieved at finally being able to get rid of the stench and get in a fresh stretch of air. He stood there for a moment, the sun warm on his tan pelt, feeling the soft wind through his fur. He had to admit grudgingly, that it was a nice day, and there was really no reason to spoil it. Speak again --his eyes widened as a warrior he knew to be Raggedclaws, threw one of the warriors across the camp, smashing near what was known as the medicine cat den. He couldn't help it, as he smiled cruelly, Yes! Damage that freaking medicine cat den! He frowned quickly, and padded over to her to see if she was hurt.
Halfway there, he stopped, and his eyes darkened --I don't need to help yet, he thought, and I don't want to be like that! I will only help when I have to....which will be pretty soon. Great, now he was left in blind awful thoughts --typical....
His angry mood deepened as Silversoul came into the clearing, and he sneered at her openly, his miss-matched eyes looking horribly wrong. What the heck was she doing here? Acting like she was so great! She was only a weak medicine cat. He grumbled, I hate the medicine cat and her stupid den, he growled softly to himself. He looked at her as she stood up to Raggedclaws. Worthless piece of fox dung, he thought to himself. He stood in the shadows now, to weary to approach the white kit with Silversoul around.
ooc;; why does he hate the medicine cat? Check his bio >.<
running away from Silversoul
wait..were you talking? fuming about the medicine den "Sandkit wants you to be quiet "

Silversoul looked back at Raggedclaw, waiting for him to say something, then, turned her glaze to Dovekit. "Why don't you go play and stay out of Raggedclaw way. You don't want to get clawed by this grump. I'll help Horizon." She wanted Dovekit to leave so she could ask raggedclaw why he was about to harm a kit.
She felt as though someone was watching her. She turned her glaze to the sandy tom. Her glaze soften at her soon to be apprentice. No one knew beside her, him, and Icestar. She let out a small sigh at his angry glaze. She hoped he would soften as he grew, but so far his hatred to being a medicine cat just made it worse. She nodded her small head to Sandkit. She looked back at Dovekit. "Why don't you and Sandkit go play some games, because soon you will be apprentice and have no time for games." She gently rested her tail on Dovekit nose.
Next she turned her glaze to Ottermask. "Your bleeding. What happen here? Do you feel pain? I can run and get poppy seeds and cob webs." She padded up Ottermask and sniffed her. "Go to my den I can see your hurt."

OoC post: Hey Holly! ^-^ I'd just like to point out that your second-to-last post is under the minimum word limit, and that you may have misread my post Raggedclaws threatened Ottermask, not Dovekit. Please be careful~ Could you edit that post? It's the one where Silversoul and Holly both come in. The post is 169 words long; minimum is 200! ^-^

Sometimes - or, more accurately, all of the time - Hailkit couldn't help but wonder why life had to be so... boring. Seriously, every day was the same mousebrained thing, and being a kit didn't make it any better; in fact, it probably just made it worse, though she wouldn't know any differently. 'Cause she's a kit, see? Ugh, thank StarClan she was becoming an apprentice soon, so she could actually do something instead of watching on the sidelines. This clan needed some excitement, and she was just the cat to give it to them. In fact, in a clan of bores like this one, she was the only cat to give it to them.
So as she padded out of the nursery, an obvious swagger to her stocky stride, Hailkit had a look of supreme narcissism plastered on her face, so obvious, that (figuratively speaking, of course) a blind cat could see it. The scene outside, however, manged to wipe that smirk off of her face in the blink of an eye. She couldn't even imagine what had happened in her absence. In fact, as she surveyed the wreckage, she decided that she didn't want to. Scuffles between clanmates were quite rare (or, at least, from what she had seen), but when they did occur, they were usually serious. Especially with Raggedclaws involved.
The kit's gaze hardened noticeably. Her adoptive mother had warned her about the large tom, and, although Quailwing usually didn't make much sense to her, Hailkit had to admit that - this time - the queen's worry was rational. He probably wouldn't actually hurt a kit - though she wouldn't put it past him - but he seemed to have an exceptionally hostile attitude towards them. Much like her parents, in a way, and in other aspects, even worse. She glared at the dark tom's retreating back, and then, spotting Sandkit and, a bit farther away, Dovekit, she carefully padded to the tawny tom-kit's side. Despite being denmates and all, she didn't know either of the kits very well. Then again, she didn't know anybody very well. She tilted her head at Silversoul's suggestion to play, then glanced at each kit in turn. "If you're going to play," she mrr'owed, "may I join you?"
Sure, they probably wouldn't be able to entertain her for long, but it wouldn't hurt to wait and see. Anyway, if she got bored, she could always walk away... but that was just an if, and who knows? Maybe they could...
ooc - ugh, fail post. >.< I'm really tired, so I hope I didn't mess anything up!
