Oceaneyes She looks up at the sky, it's blue fire burning into her ocean eyes like a light. The sun sending it's golden, life-giving rays across her back, warming her from her tail tip to her toes. She looks across the camp, noticing all of the aspen trees, and how out of place it seems compared to- You are Oceaneyes of AspenClan. Not FrostClan. She reminds herself. With a slight shake of her head, Oceaneyes crosses the camp to the fresh-kill pile and selects a mouse; her favorite. She bites through the flesh, sinews and muscle, savoring the bite and letting the blood flood her mouth. Silently she thanked StarClan for the mouse and buried the bones. My home.., She sighed inwardly as she looked around. All her new friends and Clanmates appreciated her. She was theirs, they were hers. She was happy when she forgot about her family and her mother's death...but the pain would try to double her over. If she wasn't as strong as her mother she would've gone insane by now. But with Oceaneyes that was impossible. Scarredstar, the leader, was sitting in the sun, she'd go and join him. Giving her shoulder a quick lick (a cow-lick had formed and was determined to stay in place), she pranced over to him. "Hello." She mewed shyly. She had only talked to him when he talked to her first, but he seemed lonely, and in need of company. She'd provide that company.

i'm always in this twilight the stars, the moon, they've all been blown out [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] IN THIS DARKNESS !
Scarredstar was so...alone.
Since he became leader, he didn't even have his fellow warriors to associate with. Now there was so much formality, so much respect...it made him feel alienated. It was worse than that first moon after the attack...people eying him fearfully, as though him killing a fox meant that he'd for some reason kill them too. That, or his wounds would magically make them ill if they came near him. It'd been a painful time for the new warrior, after losing his mentor and idol.
Though those rejection days were over, he still felt a bit separate from the other cats in his Clan. Despite this, he still felt, just like any other tom. And he felt, now, a stirring of warmth in his chest, as he watched a familiar pretty she-cat walk over to him.
Her name was Oceaneyes, he knew. a very accurate name: her eyes were a hue that rivaled the sky above their heads, the river bordering their territory. She was admittedly quite beautiful, her fur mottled like the dappled forest floor on a sunny day.
"Hi," she mewed, and Scarredstar felt his ears grow hot. He kept his head turned so she wouldn't be met with the terrible sight of his ripped face and empty socket.
"Hello, Oceaneyes," he murmured and glanced towards her, clear blue eye shy. "It's nice to have a chance to speak with you."

Oceaneyes Oceaneyes saw that he kept his head turned to his right. Trying to hide? I'm not like the others..."Hello, Oceaneyes, It's nice to have a chance to speak with you." Oceaneyes kept walking and hopped right over him, so that she lay down to his right. She wanted some honesty, not hindrance. "Yes, it is nice. Isn't it?" Oceaneyes smiled a warm smile as she looked up at him. She'd seen his eye before, it had never bothered her. You don't judge a cat by it's looks, but on the inside. And on the inside of Scarredstar was a great leader with tremendous ability. He was perfect for AspenClan. Willing to stand up for his warriors, to protect the kits. "How's life Scarredstar?" She asked with true generosity. Her ocean gaze looked at his eyes. Her's boring deep into his, no shame, no pain or disgust. Just a calm friendliness that couldn't ever be mistaken. "Has StarClan smiled down upon you in these past moons?" Oceaneyes thought to herself about how her mother, who was in StarClan now, often visited her dreams, making her life here just a tad bit easier. She knew that her mother also visited the dreams of her other siblings, and that made for a messaging system that they could both use. Roselight had told Seastar recently to relay back to Oceaneyes that she was with kits. Seastar's eyes had practically glowed with pride and happiness. If only she could tell her sister that she too was with kits... notes: Can't wait to see how these two turn out! Word count: 253! X Muse: below empty T.T
