Why do you shun me for who I am?
FOR I AM SPARROWWING of the great AspenClan
Age 1 year 4 months / 16 moons Gender Female Rank Warrior
How can I hide in the shadows of the unknown?
WHEN MY PELT IS 'TORTIE' and my eyes are hazel
Scars A few scratches, hidden below her fur.
Appearance Sparrowwing is a slender (not skinny, but not fat either) tortoiseshell she-cat with bright hazel eyes. Her fur is smooth and soft for she grooms it daily to look stunning. Although she doesn't do it so much for others, but more for herself as she also likes to be clean. Her tortoiseshell fur is more black than orange, and she only has a few orange spots on her head/face, while her body has much more. Her built, as mentioned, is slender, but her hind legs are slightly more muscular, which allows her to jup great heights. Although she is quite strong, she uses her speed to her advantage; dealing quick blows and darting away swiftly, rather than using brute force.
Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M THOUGHTFUL AND KIND
Personality In general, Sparrowwing is a sweet girl. Reponsible, honest (most of the time), and caring. She does not do anything rash (although she can be persuaded sometimes) but thinks things over before making a decision. When meeting someone, she will mostly be kind, but she will treat you the way you treat her. If you act bitchy, she will do the same. Although she does have a certain level of tolerance.
She can be a little jealous at times, especially of those she likes. If someone she doesn't know get a promotion or something, she does not care much. But if a friend does she will be envious. Although she will also be happy for her friend. Besides that she is also slightly selfish. If she is asked to do something, she will often complete the task to her utmost advantage, although she will never truly disadvantage someone else. Furthermore, Sparrowwing often says things the way they are, although she (most of the time) knows when to keep her mouth shut. (In order to prevent hurting others).
Preferences Enjoys sunbathing, and hanging out with Clanmates (friends). She loves to hunt and explore and does not mind doing her duties as long as she can have some fun as well. Also loves the change of seasons although she often wishes for Leafbare to end early or at least be a little milder. Secret Ambitions Wants to become Deputy one day/Looking for a mate. Strengths/Weaknesses Loyal, considerate, kind / Jealous, slightly pessimistic (although she thinks of it as realistic), a little insecure.
How am I punished for what my kin has done?
EVEN IF MY PARENTS ARE BLACKBIRD AND FOXLEAP
Family Blackbird (father), Foxleap (mother), Firehawk (brother). Event that Lead to being a Warrior Trained hard to learn the ways of a true Warrior and has now been a warrior for 2 moons.
History Sparrowwing was born to Blackbird and Foxleap. Foxleap was a Loner before she came to AspenClan, but from the moment she joined Blackbird had been attracted to her. The road of their relationships had its bumps and cracks, and they have also been apart for a few moons before finally realizing they truly belonged together. Their first litter consisted of two kits; Sparrowkit and Firekit. As kits, the two were very curious and often roamed around the camp, trying to discover new things. As an apprentice, Sparrowpaw hang out a lot with the toms rather than the other she-cats. She simply preferred their company above the (in general) more 'winy' she-cats. This meant she had to live up to the tom's expectations. She was trained by a senior tom named Birchleaf, who taught her how to use her more 'feminine traits' to beat guys. He taught her to use her speed rather than strength and helped her become a great hunter.
Sample RP (one of my more recent posts from a wolf rpg (haven't rp-ed cats recently)
Winter had come after all. The cold had already chilled his bones during the night and the sun had helped little in warming him up during the day. As much as he loved the sight of snow falling from the sky, he greatly disliked the cold that came with it. It was like enjoying the sound of rain pattering on leaves, but hating to get wet. The fact that Kaza'rhun was now settled near a mountain probably wouldn't contribute towards a 'warm' winter climate and there was nothing left for him to do but to wait for how harsh this winter would be.
The tunnels of the Sanctum however, provided some shelter from the snow. The cold air did tend to rush through the maze of passages, chilling him some more. He clenched his teeth together and moved on, unsure where the tunnel he was in would lead him. Being new to Kaza'rhun he was still exploring the vast area that lay within and around the behemoth Norvald. If he were to feel comfortable around his new home he had to know the ins and outs of his pack's territory.
As he continued in a steady pace he noticed the air getting colder, meaning he was probably heading towards the 'exit' of Kaza'rhun. Although he wasn't planning on going out he decided to continue following the tunnel. It was always good to know the way out. Especially if you had to block an escape or prevent others from getting into Kaza'rhun.
Eventually the tunnel widened until he stood inside the cave, the entrance of the mountain in front of. His eyes watered as cold wind blew towards him and he wanted to turn around as soon as possible. His eyes scanned his surroudings swiftly so that he could remember which tunnels would lead him where if he came here another time. His eyes rested however upon a dark stripe on white, huddled against the cave wall. In the slight darkness of the cave his infrared vision betrayed that this thing was a living creature, its heat in sharp contrast against the cold stone and snow.
While the Kaza'rhun Creed demanded he jumped this wolf and forced her into submission he was not sure whether he could do so properly as the wolf was in such a strange position. Instead he crouched slightly, stalking forward a little until the distance between him and the other had been closed. This allowed him to jump on her if she made a move, yet gave him enough space to dodge when necessary.
"You shouldn't be here." He spoke with a slight hiss on the edge of his words. As he bared his teeth at the black striped ball of white fur.
You call me by the name I’ve lied I meet in secret with those who’ve died Though life is not’ but treachery This life is all the life in me
