Why do you shun me for who I am?
FOR I AM CREEKTWIST of the great AspenClan
Age 40 moons Gender Tom Rank Possibly deputy
How can I hide in the shadows of the unknown?
WHEN MY PELT IS BROWN and my eyes are yellow
Scars One of his ears is slightly deformed from his participation in a battle. Appearance The vivid yellow eyes you see peering at you through the undergrowth in AspenClan territory, they most likely belong to a tom known as Creektwist. Although you may notice at times they have a slightly green coloured tint. He has quite a large build, the type you would want to curl up next to on a cold winter night. He has adapted his build through training to become more suited to the territory in Aspenclan and has strong, muscular limbs so he wont fall out a tree anytime soon with large paws and sharp claws to go with them to give him a better grip and is very swift in places he knows well. He is well camouflaged in his territory especially when standing next to one of the lighter coloured trees. His light tan coloured and spotted pelt makes him appear to his prey as though he is just another object in the forest. Even though he is prominently tan coloured he does have a faint white dusting on his maw, down his chest and onto his belly. His tail is marked like that of a ring-tailed lemur with dark black stripes coating it and finishing with a black tip. This can be annoying as it seems to attract kits and when innocently walking through his camp he might find himself under attract from a litter of kits. As well as this you may notice that one of his ears is slightly deformed from an unfortunate event in his past.
Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M LOYAL AND PROTECTIVE
Personality Creektwist has a strong personality, but not obviously so. If you were to approach him then he would come across as quite a reserved tom, but generally quite friendly. However, he is more dedicated to the duty he has to his clan rather than getting caught up in relationships. Relationships ended up making trouble for him earlier in life and so he likes to keep his distance from them. That's not to say he doesn't have friends, he does, just friends he is not very close to. He likes to keep a couple of close friends that he is very loyal too and feels it's easier to keep track of things that way. He is fiercely loyal to the few close friends that he does have and would do anything for them, as well as his clan leader and medicine cat. He is an admirable warrior, one that any leader would want on their side but since he prefers to keep to himself others may think that he is being rude when in reality it's just how he is. One of the few times you will see him relaxed is when he is with his sister, Cloversprig. He has always been close to her and he feels that she is one of the few who understands him properly what and he feels very protective over her, and the rest of the clan. He likes to feel he has responsibility and is happy to take charge of things as he has a tendency to perform better when he is put under pressure. Preferences Likes - Taking charge, being protective, training Dislikes - Feeling helpless, cold weather, laziness Secret Ambitions To work as hard as he can and to gain as much respect as he can. Strengths/Weaknesses Strengths - Stalking, patience, hard-worker, loyalty Weaknesses - Trusting, taking time to relax, worrying
How am I punished for what my kin has done?
EVEN IF MY PARENTS ARE SPECKLEWHISKER AND STAGHEART
Family Event that Lead to being a Warrior Helped another cat with her training to become a warrior because she had a little trouble due to her limp in one of her hind legs. History Creek-kit was born in Aspenclan with his sibling, a she-cat called Cloverkit. His mother was known as Specklewhisker, and his father Stagheart. He was unluckily born during leafbare, meaning that it was a harsh beginning for the two kits and they were rarely allowed to leave the den so they kept their strength up, the last thing the clan wanted was to have two kits dying.
It wasn't until the two siblings were made apprentices that they were allowed out of the den. His mentor was an older tom called Seachaser. They trained hard together, always trying to be better than the other apprentices. He didn't see himself as better or more important, it was just a small but fun competition his mentor had set for him, and it wasn't as though it was anything overly serious. So after 12 moons of walking this earth Creekpaw became Creektwist, and his sister Cloverpaw became Cloversprig and the two dutifully sat their vigil that night.
Creektwist was always a hard worker as a warrior, he did what he was asked quickly and efficiently, making sure that whoever he was with worked as his standard too. It was this way of thinking that got him an apprentice before other cats of his age. He trained a small white tom called Sallowpaw. Sallowpaw had been the runt of his litter so he was made an apprentice a moon after his siblings, but by the time Creektwist had finished with him he was a warrior just as good as any of his siblings and eventually took the name Sallowfang. He has been close friends with the younger tom ever since.
It was not long after he had been given his second apprentice that the clan leader lost her last life, which resulted in the deputy position being left vacant. He wouldn't lie, of course he had wanted it, any cat would have been stupid not to want it, but unlike the other warriors he was the one who got it, and has been making sure to fill the position well ever since. Sample RP The tom couldn't help but glance upwards as he noticed that the forest suddenly began to grow darker. He watched curiously as thick, midnight blue coloured clouds rolled slowly across his view of the lunar circle. However, he was distracted from looking at the moon by the reply that came from Coyotestar's maw. He studied her face with curious eyes. Either it was just him or she was slightly unsettled, but it would have been a surprise if he was wrong due to the fact he did not posses a great deal of expertise on those around him. In fact if anything he had quite a lot to learn about how others acted, reacted and so on. He had spent so much of his time focusing on being the best warrior he can be and improving his skills that he took little time to notice the emotions of others. It all came down to the fact that he had to accept he could learn a lot from others even if they didn't happen to be as dedicated as himself. He just didn't trust others very easily, that was his main problem. Although in his defense he had never tried very hard to trust another cat. Maybe it was time that he tried to strengthen himself in an area where he was weaker. Yes, he would try his best to work on that and he would try his best to make some friends. Having Rosepaw as an apprentice would most likely be good for him, that way he could build some sort of relationship with her based on his vast knowledge of being a warrior. It would work. It had to work.
However, by this time Creektwist realized he hadn't been very quick to reply to Coyotestar's question and she had left him standing there, day dreaming, and looking like a bit of an idiot. Shaking the muddled thoughts from his head his eyes focused on reality instead of what he hope would happen and he watched Coyotestar landing on a chipmunk. It was a good kill on her behalf, of course he would expect nothing less from his leader. Watching as he approached he nodded his head gently. "Nice kill." He commented. "I think I might join you if you don't mind too much, I just don't feel like I could sleep at the present." He added. Since Coyotestar had just made her kill he decided he should probably match it and take his turn especially considering she already had two things in her pile and he had nothing. As he scented the air he decided to start easy and go for the mole. Taking a moment to locate it he dropped into a hunters crouch and quietly stalked the creature. At least he didn't have to worry about it seeing him, he just had to be sure he didn't make a noise as he moved around a tree where he saw it nosing it's way through the mud. It had no time to burrow underground now. With tensed muscles he sprang forward and gave it a swift bite to the neck. There was no need to be cruel to the little fellow after all. Well, it could have been a female but he would never know. Picking it up gingerly in his maw so he didn't damage the carcass he turned and carried it over to where Coyotestar had left her pile and gently placed it a short distance away from her fresh-kill. "So how are things?" He asked his ears twitching, as he listened to the sounds of the forest.
You call me by the name I’ve lied I meet in secret with those who’ve died Though life is not’ but treachery This life is all the life in me
