Why do you shun me for who I am?
FOR I AM Breezefur of the great AshClan
click Age 57 moons Gender Tom Rank Warrior (auditioning for leader)
How can I hide in the shadows of the unknown?
WHEN MY PELT IS black and white and my eyes are yellow
Scars He has snowflake-type scars (thin lines) across his shoulders, just from battle.
Appearance
By any means, Breezefur is not a large cat. He isn't as tall as some of the other cats in his Clan, nor as he as long or as wiry. But what the tom lacks in stature he makes up in pure physical presence. Whenever Breezefur enters an area, he commands it. His body is thick and burly, his muscles well-defined underneath his short pelt. The tom is extremely compact, as not an inch of space on his body is wasted for fat. He is also unexpectedly agile, able to pelt quickly over the jagged terrain due to the strength in his hind legs. He's not overly speedy like AspenClan cats, but he can make quick work of the rocky ground in the AshClan territory. No, he may not be tall, but he's strong and carries an air about him that comes from a combination of age and experience.
Breezefur has a rather average face, round instead of long. It's defined enough, though he doesn't carry the sculpted elegance some of the more wiry cats in his Clan lay claim too. His ears are short pointed slightly to the outside, and his muzzle is round, jutting out slightly from his face. His eyes are wide, bright yellow, and eagle-like, and are angled up slightly as they travel away from his nose. His whiskers are longer than usual, and are in constant disarray. As for colouration, the tom's nose is a pitch-black, and a streak of black fur extends up from it, stopping halfway up his muzzle, though a small islet of fur is isolated by his right eye. His ears are covered in dense black fur, and so is the top half of his face, the pattern forming a convex point in the center of his forehead.
His body is covered by soft and short white fur. It gets longer towards his flanks, though it stays consistent everywhere else. The snow-white of his pelt is marred in places by large splotches of black fur. Apart from the ones on his face, there are two on the instead of each of his legs, one for each leg. The spot on his right leg is almost twice as large as the spot on his left, and together they give the impression of a malformed butterfly. There's a spot that lies almost directly across his shoulders, and another which slides down his right side and almost reaches the underside of his belly. There's also one more spot, a small one, just at the base of his tail.
Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M stoic AND intelligent.
Personality
Like his Clan, Breezefur is silent. He never says more than he needs to to get his point across, and he chooses his words well when he needs to say them, so he never ends up talking on and on without making his position clear. His quiet personality makes the words he does say even more effective, so his voice is commanding and penetrating, shot through with confidence and poise. He's very sure of himself as well as wise and controlled, not paying attention to anything trivial. Clan gossip is beneath him, but he's always sure to stay appraised of issues at the borders and information at Gatherings. Not talking helps him to be a better listener.
Breezefur is also very stoic, unmoved by such emotions as grief or joy. While the tom can feel happiness and sorrow quite acutely, he doesn't let them get in his way and he strives to make his judgments regardless of his personal feelings, not allowing himself to become emotionally invested in an issue. He always puts his Clan first and will continue to be strong in order to provide for them, admitting that his own desires are second to the warrior code and to StarClan. He also has difficulty in expressing sympathy for another. He is constantly rallying his Clanmates to push through their problems and continue to serve their Clan, though he understands that some things can be emotionally devastating.
The tom is also a fairly intelligent cat, though his mental process is related more to common sense and the best solution than to exploring the mysteries of the universe. He likes to take his time to think a problem through before proposing a solution. This calm head has done him well in many battles and Breezefur has been a victor many times over, pushing himself in each fight, never giving up. He's quite brave, but there's a chance that one day he might push himself a little too far, but the tom is willing to take that chance and sacrifice himself for his Clan. As a factor of his age, Breezefur is scarred and battle-hardened, a senior and respected warrior of the Clan.

How am I punished for what my kin has done?
EVEN IF MY PARENTS ARE Sootstreak AND Lilytail
Family Father: Sootstreak. Mother: Lilytail
Event that Lead to being a Warrior the lack of strong warriors in the Clan and an impressive assessment.
History Sootstreak and Lilytail were pretty average AshClan warriors. Lilytail was slight and soft, a thin and pretty figure against the oppressive volcanic scenery. Sootstreak, on the other hand, blended right in. They met when they were just apprentices, since both were the same age. Sootpaw was young and arrogant, and he thought that he was by far the greatest apprentice of all time. Lilypaw was shy, and though she disagreed with him, found him a good companion for his intelligence and his sense of humour. So the two got along quite well, with Lilypaw always calming down the hotheated apprentice. After a nasty border skirmish where Sootpaw received a sharp gash to his flank, he was made a warrior – Sootstreak. Lilypaw followed a couple of moons after. It wasn't long until they were mates, though she refused to have kits until she was older. When they were both around forty moons, Lilytail became a queen.
Breezekit was the only child of his litter, and though both of his parents loved him very much, it was easy to tell that they loved being warriors more. Lilytail had no milk, so after he was born, she placed him in the care of another queen, and she returned to her warrior life. Lilytail and Sootstreak remained very close and in love as well as the best of friends until they died, at separate times and of separate causes. Sootstreak died in battle when Breezekit became an apprentice, and Lilytail went blind soon after and retired to the elder's den, where she would later die of old age. Breezekit, however, was so disconnected from his parents that he barely mourned at his father's passing. This would set him up to be the stolid cat he is today.
Breezepaw became an apprentice underneath Greywing, a skinny grey tom with tattered fur and a quirky sense of humour. Greywing was extremely cunning, and he made Breezepaw into the intelligent cat he is today, though the black and white apprentice would never hope to live up to Greywing's example. So many of his mentor's anecdotes stuck with him, showing him how the other Clans operated and giving him a commentary on many of the things he saw while on patrols or at Gatherings. Simply put, along with showing him how to hunt and fight, Greywing taught him how to think.
Breezepaw received his warrior name, not after a particularly tough battle as he would have liked, but after an impressive assessment. The Clan was beginning to run low on warriors, and so the Clan leader at the time put Breezepaw through his paces. The tom was made to hunt rabbits on the rugged slopes, tussle with Greywing, and enter into a larger battle simulation. He passed with flying colours, showing that he could hunt well, fight well, and think well. Breezepaw, now fur, was incredibly proud of himself. He was one of the strongest cats in the Clan, but what he didn't realize at the time was that he was running a little low on the compassion and friendship departments.
Over his many moons as a warrior, Breezefur has done many things. He's trained his own apprentice, fought in many battles with scars to prove, and has earned the respect of his Clanmates. He's a good warrior, even if he's a bit impassive when it comes to emotions, and he's ready to take the next step towards AshClan leadership.
You call me by the name I’ve lied I meet in secret with those who’ve died Though life is not’ but treachery This life is all the life in me
