OOC name: Raggedclaws character's name: Raggedclaws age: 60 moons gender: Tom personality: Raggedclaws is a violent fighter who prefers to flex his claws on the best of the best. Small prey is little to him and he will simply knock the weaklings out of his way with his claws. He is an insanely powerful but slow cat and those with sanity will back down when they see him on patrol, which he doesn’t like much. He also claims that injury and death are nothing but the price one pays for a good fight. Although he thrives for battle, Raggedclaws has shown to have emotions. Raggedclaws is one of the most complex characters in the RolePlay, as he exhibits a wide range of traits: lethargic, bloodthirsty, rebellious, empathetic, and wise. Though rarely seen, he is a good leader with many unspoken rules, though he can be quite rude and rebellious. However, it only adds to the enjoyment of the RolePlay.
why your cat is good for this role: Raggedclaws is a good choice for Deputy because of his personality, strength and logic. Though not seen much, this cat is a leader who is willing to defend what is his. Though he is a violent cat in battle, when he isn’t, he does have a few lazy tendencies but he does get the job done one way or another. Patrolling is what he does best, since he is a poor hunter, but most cats can always feel reassured when he is around since he will deal with most of the problems, even if the outcome is forcing a cat to back off with intimidation – another good thing, which he will use if he must.
Raggedclaws does have a soft side, evident when he talked to Fallenleaf by the Reflection Pool. If he had something in common with a problem or if he feels that the cat needs some ‘cheering up’, he will always attempt to say something, even if it comes out as more of an insult than an uplifting thing. Obedience is what he commands since no cat is brave enough to do something against his orders, and he will do what it takes, even more willing if another strong cat offers to fight with him afterwards. Generally he is a brave, feared, strong Warrior who will back up his leader, even if he does have some characteristics of a lazy, irritating cat with no sense of direction.
RP Example: Word count: 345
Snorting as the light covered his fur; the AspenClan Deputy lifted his head and flexed his claws. Blinking the sleep from his golden eyes, he glanced around before he pushed himself up. Arching his back and puffing his chest out, flicking his hind paws back and snorting as he stretched, the tom prepared to go out into the territory and patrol. Who would go with him? Patrols had to have more than one cat, so that meant... Great, he had to go with Silverclaw. “Great, I have to babysit the whiner,” the tom spat quietly to himself, pushing his forelegs out and lifting his rump into the air. His tail fur fluffed out; the Jet black plumage draping the earth as it curled up, then relaxed when he returned to standing. Ivory claws dug into the earth as he flicked his claws in and out of his sheathes, craning his neck until it clicked and popped to release the muscle there. When he was satisfied, he padded into the camp and searched it using only his eyes. Where was the she-cat? Growling deep in his throat, he lifted his voice in a chafing, thunderous yowl, calling “Silverclaw!” at the top of his lungs.
Obviously the tom hated patrolling, but it was better than hunting. Since he would lead the patrol, he would have to find his way around again – which wasn’t one of his best qualities. Notably the tom got lost where ever he went, which didn’t bother him much, but he always found his way back after a day or two. Narrowing his eyes, he made a curt ‘tch’ sound, spitting on the ground before he walked over to the Fresh Kill Pile and picked up a thrush. Rather than pulling the feathers off carefully with his teeth, the tom put it down on the ground and slashed into the wing, dragging the feathers out before he put the wing in his mouth and spat out the bones. Finishing within heartbeats of starting his ‘meal’, he turned, expecting to see Silverclaw ready and waiting...

OOC name: Winter character's name: Creektwist age: 40 moons gender: Tom personality: Creektwist has a strong personality, but not obviously so. If you were to approach him then he would come across as quite a reserved tom, but generally quite friendly. However, he is more dedicated to the duty he has to his clan rather than getting caught up in relationships. Relationships ended up making trouble for him earlier in life and so he likes to keep his distance from them. That's not to say he doesn't have friends, he does, just friends he is not very close to. He likes to keep a couple of close friends that he is very loyal too and feels it's easier to keep track of things that way. Continued here.
why your cat is good for this role: Creektwist was born in Aspenclan and has lived there all of his life, this gives him an extensive knowledge of the clan and it's history, plus he had fun listening to stories the elders told about the clan when he was only a kit. He is hard-working and when given a task he sticks with it until it is done properly, he likes to push others to their full potential but he will be patient with them if they can't seem to achieve this in the beginning. He is quiet most of the time and keeps an eye on things from a distance rather than sticking his nose into the business of others, he would only put a foot in if he saw something suspicious going on. He would never try and go against Icestar, and will follow through with any orders that are given by her, and when asked his opinion he will gladly help her in making any decisions she needs to.
RP Example: The tom couldn't help but glance upwards as he noticed that the forest suddenly began to grow darker. He watched curiously as thick, midnight blue coloured clouds rolled slowly across his view of the lunar circle. However, he was distracted from looking at the moon by the reply that came from Coyotestar's maw. He studied her face with curious eyes. Either it was just him or she was slightly unsettled, but it would have been a surprise if he was wrong due to the fact he did not posses a great deal of expertise on those around him. In fact if anything he had quite a lot to learn about how others acted, reacted and so on. He had spent so much of his time focusing on being the best warrior he can be and improving his skills that he took little time to notice the emotions of others. It all came down to the fact that he had to accept he could learn a lot from others even if they didn't happen to be as dedicated as himself. He just didn't trust others very easily, that was his main problem. Although in his defense he had never tried very hard to trust another cat. Maybe it was time that he tried to strengthen himself in an area where he was weaker. Yes, he would try his best to work on that and he would try his best to make some friends. Having Rosepaw as an apprentice would most likely be good for him, that way he could build some sort of relationship with her based on his vast knowledge of being a warrior. It would work. It had to work.
However, by this time Creektwist realized he hadn't been very quick to reply to Coyotestar's question and she had left him standing there, day dreaming, and looking like a bit of an idiot. Shaking the muddled thoughts from his head his eyes focused on reality instead of what he hope would happen and he watched Coyotestar landing on a chipmunk. It was a good kill on her behalf, of course he would expect nothing less from his leader. Watching as he approached he nodded his head gently. "Nice kill." He commented. "I think I might join you if you don't mind too much, I just don't feel like I could sleep at the present." He added. Since Coyotestar had just made her kill he decided he should probably match it and take his turn especially considering she already had two things in her pile and he had nothing. As he scented the air he decided to start easy and go for the mole. Taking a moment to locate it he dropped into a hunters crouch and quietly stalked the creature. At least he didn't have to worry about it seeing him, he just had to be sure he didn't make a noise as he moved around a tree where he saw it nosing it's way through the mud. It had no time to burrow underground now. With tensed muscles he sprang forward and gave it a swift bite to the neck. There was no need to be cruel to the little fellow after all. Well, it could have been a female but he would never know. Picking it up gingerly in his maw so he didn't damage the carcass he turned and carried it over to where Coyotestar had left her pile and gently placed it a short distance away from her fresh-kill. "So how are things?" He asked his ears twitching, as he listened to the sounds of the forest.
