Why do you shun me for who I am?
FOR I AM VICIOUS of the great twolegger's household
Age Three years, two moons Gender Tom Rank Kittypet
How can I hide in the shadows of the unknown?
WHEN MY PELT IS TAN AND SPOTTED and my eyes are pale gold
Scars Vicious spent most of his life within the confines of a house or a pen, so he doesn't have many marks marring his coat, but there are a series of cuts around his neck where his previous owners had a choker collar in place. Appearance Vicious is an incredibly large cat, being of the breed Ashera. He stands nearly twice as tall as your average domestic cat, and has the build and facial structure of a wild African serval, matched with the coat of an Asian leopard cat, and a smaller stature than his wild ancestors, on account of the amount of domesticated feline in his blood as well. His legs are long and end in dainty, small paws interwoven with long black nails that have never seen clippers or a file along their lengths. He has a long, whipcord-esque tail with none of the feathery puffiness of some felines. His facial structure is a very interesting thing to look at, for the shape resembles that of the wild bloodline he is mixed with. His head, form the front, is shaped somewhat like a diamond rather the pentagon or hexagon of most domestic cat breeds, and his ears- comically large, rounded triangular things- have ended up closer together than most cats on account of this breed mix. He has a somewhat 'long' face, with a definitive nose-bridge and 'cheekbones'. His eyes are golden-green almond slits, and are situated at odd levels, almost perfectly parallel with each other unlike his parents, whose eyes sat at interestingly tilted levels, slighted down toward the pink point of their noses rather than straight across like his.
Vicious has a rather lean and mean look, with his slim, close shoulder blades and thin body. His coat is short- perhaps a few centimeters shy of an inch- and colored a dusky tan-gold. This color fades into a creamy off-white around his mouth and chin, and around his belly, though the color isn't noticeable when looking at him from above or the side... only when he leaps up, or rolls over. He has a variety of small and scallop-like spots coating his body, ranging in all shades of black and brown depending on the area of the marking. Vicious is very heavily speckled, though many of these spots blend into his pelt as the colors get lighter and lighter around his ribcage and face. He has very distinctive lines around his eyes- dark, dashing shapes that line his eyes. His spots seem to almost blend into stripes around his legs, growing so close together that they almost form thick rings. His tail sports a similar blending pattern, though toward the end the tannish color darkens into spotty rings around the thin width of the appendage.
Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M ARROGANT AND CALLOUS
Personality Vicious is, as his name implies, completely terrifying. He is a whirling, twirling ball of pure energy and rage, despite the breeding that should have made him an affectionate, malleable creature to own. He is arrogant and thinks himself above the majority of the 'wild cat populations'. Vicious is intolerant of anybody or anything that does not meet the high standards he sets for all manner of things. A perfectionist, and an extremist in that sense, everything in his mind must be precise and matched, and if something imperfect or impure crosses his path, he makes it his solitary goal in life to either eliminate such a monstrosity, or to 'fix' it. He is a very headstrong and small-minded individual, preferring things to work in his favor and for the world to literally revolve around him rather than anyone else. He is a spotlight hog- not that it is hard to hog such a thing, with his enormous size and exotic looks- and doesn't like being shoved into corners or thought little of.
Vicious is indifferent to the laws and customs of the clans, and has absolutely no respect or regard for the borders such- as he refers to them- lower creatures place. He tends to take whatever he pleases without a backward glance, often going so far as to grab whatever he wants and then amble on out of the area as if he were the king, and he could do as he pleased. He lords over his house, guarding it like a trained watchdog, and keeping most away from it, keeping the few little creatures that are still around to himself. He is a very selfish creature, claiming things like sleeping spaces in the outdoors, and favorite trees as his own, and then savagely attacking any who oppose his unwritten set of rules and tarnish such cherished places. He has a very combative and uncooperative air in the minds of the clans, and is thought to be somewhat of an unfeeling, apathetic monster without morals or regards for anything. The Ashera cat does little to change or sway this illusion- he doesn't care what is thought about him- but he constantly adds to it, as if infamy makes his ears prick and his eyes sparkle.
A hostile creature, he believes in the use of either force, action, or manipulation to get his way in the world, and has been known to twist stray loners into amusing him before promptly losing interest and ridding himself of such 'mangy beasts'. Vicious does, despite his rigid and unyielding appearance, have a series of Achilles heels- the most important of which being his vanity. He believes himself to be a spectacular piece of art, melded to absolute perfection, with few or no abnormalities. He preens and struts like a peacock when eyes are on him, and puffs out his chest like feline royalty to attract uninterested onlookers attentions despite any aversions. Compliments and flattery make this cat sweeter than honeycomb, and easily pressed for information- but it takes more than the simple 'your spots are simply gorgeous,' to get this feisty feline weak in the knees. He values creativity in wording over quantity, and has been known to get downright pleasant when soothed with such sweet words- though the pleasant facade slowly fades over a short time, and he is back to his bristling, vengeful self.
Despite being a basely 'bad' creature, he has a reputation of being courteous and polite in words, showing the diplomatic side of him that can often be more dangerous to see than the baring of this creatures large teeth. Overall just a pompous, arrogant little prince whose best interest is clawing his way to the top of whatever he can, this cat is a volatile and dangerous beast to meet in the shadows. Preferences Likes; Sunny days, climbing, warm weather, running, water, feeling full, catching his own prey, terrifying the cats who wander near his house, races, birds, the sound of water, music, fish, sleeping, meat, being allowed out of the house.
Dislikes; Dogs, chilly weather, slow creatures, being cooped up in the house, unintelligence, overly friendly creatures, other tom cats, the jingling of the collar his twolegs put on him on occasion, strangers, peaceful conditions, a lack of entertainment, being bored.
Secret Ambitions To either permanently escape from his two legs, or to live out his life terrorizing the smaller prey creatures that live around the house. He doesn't have much in the way of priorities. Strengths/Weaknesses
Strengths; Running, climbing, finding ways out of the house, terrifying other cats with his size, fighting, manipulating others for his own use, racing.
Weaknesses; Swimming, impatience, sore loser, cold climates, she-cats, hunger, loud noises, his dangerously intense curiosity.
How am I punished for what my kin has done?
EVEN IF MY PARENTS ARE SHANTI AND FERALI
Family He doesn't particularly like any of his siblings, nor has he seen them since he was sold, so he considers them irrelevant and unimportant. Event that Lead to being a Warrior --- History Vicious was born to a pair of purebred Ashera cats, Shanti and Ferali, and promptly sold to his first owner a mere day or so after birth. He was hand-raised and bottle-fed from this first couple, who paid a handsome bundle for the rare species, and trained from an early age to walk on a leash like a common mutt, so that he could be strolled past his two leggers jealous friends and so compliments on the humans training, and the cats overall appearance, could be shared all around. This routine went on for around a year or so- placing him at the age of a young adult by the time his loving little couple had their first child, and decided their rather large exotic pet wasn't the best thing to have around a newborn. He was passed from relative to relative at first, as the couple hoped to retrieve him after their child grew- but soon abandoned the idea a year later, as their second child was brought into the world. At this point, Vicious- at the time name Loki- was passed from a great uncle to his veterinarian, and began the great circulation through several exotic pet rehabilitation centers and pounds before ending up with an older couple who lived out in the 'wild'.
The couple- Emily and Adam Stevenson - had no younger children that their new pet could 'endanger' and no fellow pets at the time that might present a rival for any attention. Vicious was spoiled, and the two humans lavished their attention on the beautiful and wild creature. Upon their 'rescue' of him, the two renamed their little wild cat Vicious- on account of the snarling and teeth baring they had received upon crating him and driving him out to the house. A pen was created toward the back of the house when Vicious was younger so that he could play outside and relieve himself, but the couple soon discovered their pet had a knack for climbing, and quickly took the structure down. They let him run wild the first time, hoping rather than trusting in their pet that he would return. Vicious was out of there as fast as he could run- but as the sun set, he came back, as the couple found, over the years, he always did. Vicious spends his days both in and out of the house, sometimes staying in either for longer than the other, and alternating at the felines own whim. He relies on the house for food, despite his ability to catch smaller mammals, for prey seems to be scarce in the area, in his eyes. Vicious, being the way he is, isn't likely to ask a clan cat whether this is simply just him missing the animals presence, or if there is simply just a lack, so he isn't aware of the fact that food is so low. He takes what he can when he can because of this lapse in his knowledge, and makes a general nuisance of himself to the wild cats. Sample RP See Ermineheart~
