Quietly, she slipped alway from the apprentice den. Slipping through the den, Dapplepaw was going on an adventure. it was dark out, darker than usual but the dark didn't scare the young she-cat. As she slipped away, she stood about two to three fox lengths away from the den before she stretched out her muscles. Dapplepaw was going to the Thunderpath Twitching her pink nose, her silver whiskers twitched as her stomach growled. "I'll get something on the way." She whispered quietly to herself before lashing out her tail and leaping away. Trotting, she followed the scent of the patrols that went here the day before, witched she knew from the other apprentices in the
clan. Unfortunately Dapplepaw was mentor-less and had no one to teach her- which was okay because she was debating between medicine cat and warrior. "I want to be a queen. I want kits, but... helping others is also what i want" Thought Dapplepaw, her thick and long silver fur fluttered in the wind as it rushed through her fur. Panting, the she-cat didn't realize how far away the Thunderpath was but to her it was okay. A walk wasn't bad and to ger her energy out was a good thing. It was gave her a time to think and relax away from the clan. besides, nothing bad could happen. It wasn't like she would meet a rival clan cat outside the territory. Yawning, Dapplepaw saw the road that was her
destination was all about. Smiling, she knew she made it with aching muscles. I bet the others could make this walk with no problems and i can't Annoyance with herself and her clan flickered in her silver eyes and she wanted to learn so badly. She was six moons old- she should be out with the others not sitting at home bored to death. Feeling her stomach grumble, she came upon one of the path. Lowering down, in a hunting crouch, she did what came naturally and what she saw the others do. Flicking her tail, she walked through the tall grass that was next to the road. breathing in and out to smell rabbit but nothing came to her. irritated and highly tired the Ashclan cat sat down in the grass. Looking
around, it was still dark and she could get home before the dawn patrols noticed that she was gone-hopefully. Yawning, once more Dapplepaw didn't realize how tired she was and maybe this was a bad idea coming.

Maplepaw was letting the sun soak into her pelt as a splash of rain hit the tip of her nose. Spatting a bit she opened her eyes, they searched from one direction to another until she found the source. Flicking her head straight up she saw the bullets of rain falling like small missiles onto the dry earth below. The problem with this situation was in-evident at first. Maplepaw jumped up in order to dodge such annoyances but it seemed where ever she jumped it followed. A few fox-lengths away it seemed to be as clear as when she had been enjoying the sun earlier. The problem was it was only raining where she was. Her heart became weak and she was starting to come to the conclusion that it couldn't be possible. Even then her mind played along allowing her to keep trying to avoid the droplets and almost to a point they were starting to get bigger. Out of no where as if it were a twoleg's balloon filled with water a large splash of fluid landed on her skull. The reason Maplepaw knew of such horrid toys of the twoleg's was because earlier that moon she had witnessed two in the woulds throwing such things at one another. Either way it was such a extreme coincidence that she had then realized that none of this nonsense was real and she had to come back to earth.
Almost as quickly as the dream started to occur she bounced awake eyes fluttering to the silence of night but the excitement of the fact her head was in fact soaked. Shaking her head twice, Maplepaw searched the den as best she could before her eyes settled into the darkness for whatever could have caused such a odd dream and could have awakened her. As soon as at least the shadows of the other apprentices came in to view she read each body to see who had moved or if anyone was missing. Her senses started to work and she noticed that a few feet away from her the cat she knew as Dapplepaw had been sleeping there. He senses were keen but Maplepaw didn't know much about this cat. She was naturally good at reading people but for some reason She could not recall why Dapplepaw was so hard to put a paw on. Her brows furrowed and her eyes squinted in thought. 'What are you getting yourself into this late, and why aren't you being careful enough not to be caught?'Maplepaw kept thinking but then she slid her left front wrist forward slightly to stretch. A small puddle from a minuscule hole in the ceiling of the den laid there still rippling. Dapplepaw must have splashed her as she escaped from the den.
At this point Maplepaw was to much into the situation to find herself out of it. For once in her life she felt like being rebellious and wanted to know why the apprentice had left the den so late at night. Not only that but what could possibly be so important or interesting to get her to such a thing. Sniffing the air and slowly breathing it in she creeped forward to the spot where Dapplepaw had been laying earlier on that night. Catching the scent it was now engraved into her instincts. She would track her and just simply ask her right, no harm done? She was just watching out for a fellow apprentice anyway.. At least this is what was running through her head has her fur spiraled forward with the wind. Maplepaw was at the entrance and she wanted to keep going. Clearly the night was cool enough for wind, but it was almost pleasant. The moon shone upon her orb like eyes lighting the green up amazingly. They lit up and almost to easily directed her the way she needed to go. The scent was still strong and Maplepaw was determined, maybe if Dapplepaw was in trouble she could help.
Maplepaw had this tendency to be a part of things that weren't necessarily her own business. Worrying so much about other living things came naturally and with this came the instinct to watch out for everyone and everything. Even if that cat or even animal didn't want it. She was set on the fact she would make clan life better for every cat and would make peace. " Where are you Dapplepaw? " She whispered under her breathe in the darkness. She was starting to get closer to the scent but it was covered slightly. The wisps of smells came tumbling at her. Mixing with other clans to specific cats and the clearest smell was the stench of the thunderpath. Clearly Dapplepaw had something to do with the path or was passing. Either way the scent of it was intoxicating to Maplepaw and she couldn't handle it as easily as most cats. Regardless she was still interested in finding Dapplepaw and was also still extremely determined. Taking more steps forward to finding her she continued, Grass waved across her paws and the moon lit her path.
