Why do you shun me for who I am?
FOR I AM Dawnheart of the great FrostClan
Age twenty seven Gender she-cat Rank warrior
How can I hide in the shadows of the unknown?
WHEN MY PELT IS BLACK and my eyes are yellow
Scars Appearance Dawnheart is a beautiful cat. Her body is small, thin, and long. The width is small, she's not chubby, she's very skinny. Her pelt is thin, but enough to protect her from the cold. Her pelt is black, with a few lighter flecks here and there.
She is boney. When she happens to get wet, almost every single one of her bones is visible. Especially along her spine. At her spinal area, the fur is much thinner. The bones are almost always visible even when she's dry.
Dawnheart has a long tail. It rests just above the ground. This is at the end of her long body. Also like her body it has thin fur, and there isn't a lot there. Altogther she is very thin and boney, her whole body, even her legs are like that.
Dawnheart has long legs. That have the same thin black fur that the rest of her body has. At the end of her legs are four very boney paws. Her paws hold long black claws that are very strong and wont break easily. Her legs aren't very muscular, but they are enough to support her body.
Dawnheart's head fits her body. It is not too large or too small. She has gorgeous yellow eyes that have flecks of green. She has large ears, that way she can hear very well. Her snout isn't that long, and at the end is a little black nose. All in all Dawnheart is a beautiful black cat.
Why do you judge me for what I’ll become? JUST BECAUSE I’M QUICK-WITTED AND TEMPERMENTAL
Personality Dawnheart is optimistic, she may always look pissed off but she's not. She's actually a very good friend and she always wants the best and hopes for the best to happen. She does get along with pessimists however because she can sometimes be that way. She attempts not to be though. She found it easier to get along with optimisitc cats.
She is also strong. Not physically strong, but emotionally. She can wade through some pretty tough waters. When stuff does come up that brings everyone down, she tries to push through it. Sometimes, this does not work though.
Dawnheart is also very creative. She likes coming up with new and fun ideas. She creates things that pass the time. She gets bored easily, and this creativness definetly comes in handy. Hopefully, it will help others too.
Dawnheart is very smart. She catches onto things very quickly. This can be a big help if she ever gets into trouble. She was taught a lot when she was younger by her father. She also likes to share this knowledge with others.
She has few faults as well. Dawnheart is very aggressive. If she wants something, she must get it. She always has to be better at everything, because she has a very competitive attitude as well. This can be a fault, as well as a good thing.
She can be a bit stuck-up. This is rare, but sometimes she likes to gloat. She only cares about herself sometimes, but it's when she is irritated or angry when this happens. Most of the time she is very friendly. This stuck-up attitude is hard to come across.
Dawnheart is also has a temper. She gets angry at some of the simplest things. If her clan is ever to run out of food, she gets upset. This temper came from her mother, who also had a large temper. But, this temper can also help the clan. If she is in a bad mood, she sends cats away on patrols. Which inevitably, helps the clan.
Preferences likes: hunting, running, protecting her clan dislikes: water, other clans, elders Secret Ambitions to become leader, and to find a mate Strengths/Weaknesses she is very strong, not physichally but emotionally. she can come up with quick retorts as well. her weaknesses, she hates elders and water.
How am I punished for what my kin has done?
EVEN IF MY PARENTS ARE NIGHTFUR AND MOONSTORM
Family father; moonstorm mother; nightfur borhter; blackstripe sister; stormpaw [X] Event that Lead to being a Warrior she finished her last hunting training with a very good catch. History Snow was lightly falling while turmoil disrupted inside of the den walls. A queen Nightfur was giving birth to her two kits, a strange time to be giving birth though. Also very dangerous. The medicine cat predicited that neither of the very small black she-kits would survive. They were supposed to die of the cold. Many other kits had already fallen to that fate. But these two, they would prove to be stronger.
It took three days for both she-kits to open their eyes. Their names were Dawnkit and Stormkit, both had sleek black pelts. They were almost exactly the same looking, except for Dawnkit had blazing yellow eyes while Stormkit had green. This was the only way that cats could tell the difference between them other than their personalitys.
Stormkit was very soft-spoken, while Dawnkit proved herself to be loud and outgoing. Even as a kit, Dawnkit made friends easily. She even had a few apprentice friends once she became three moons old. Stormkit only had one friend really, her own sister.
Once both kits had become three moons old, Dawnkit was beginning to want out of the den. Dawnkit always wanted to be with her older brother Blackstripe who was already a warrior. She would beg and pleade her mother to let her out, but Nightfur would always refuse. Dawnkit was still small, she had hardly grown, and would hardly grow from the size she was now.
Stormkit on the other hand, always wanted to stay with her mother. She only left the nursery when her mother did. She was clingy, and afraid of other cats. She was shy, which was unlike the rest of her family. Dawnkit would always try and get Stormkit to play with her in the clearing, but it was to no avail. Stormkit had grown to be almost twice the size of Dawnkit, and it would always be like this.
At five moons, Dawnkit couldn't wait to become an apprentice. This was her last moon being stuck inside the dreary and boring nursery. Stormkit fretted over having to leave her mother's side. She would rather die, than become an apprentice. She didn't want to be in any danger or get hurt. Which was bound to happen. Dawnkit was bouncing up and down in the nursery for the rest of this moon.
Finally the day before their apprentice ceremony came for Dawnkit and Stormkit. It was a hectic day. Dawnkit was running circles around the clearing, and was playing with her sister, who finally walked out of the nursery without her mother. They played mountain climb, where Dawnkit climbed up the fresh-kill pile and was attacked by a dead bird. Stormkit was scared to touch it, so instead Blackstripe lifted it off of her. Then they became apprentices.
apprenticeship Dawnkit, now Dawnpaw, was still very lud as an apprentice. She didn't like to listen to orders, as she saw everything in her own way. Her sister Stormpaw often held Dawnpaw back from things. One time, Stormpaw's frigthened manor actually saved Dawnpaw's life. She had almost gotten shocked by lightning, when it ahd hit the tree she was going to climb. Stormpaw protected Dawnpaw in a way.
Dawnpaw made many friends while she was an apprentice. She was friendly, creative, and fun. Most cats loved to be around her. Except for when she caused mischief. She got many of her friends into trouble in a lot of instances. She always liked to leave camp and explore on her own. Somehow other apprentices would get twisted into this with her. And all of them would end up getting punished.
Dawnpaw's mentor, Tidefoot, was very ncie to her. He believed that she would be a great warrior when she got older. His predicition was true. However, he had a lot of trouble training Dawnpaw. She liked to teach herself, although that didn't always work out.
She almost followed the path of becoming a medicine cat. She really wanted to do that for a living, but her sister seemed more right for the job. Her sister Stormpaw became the medicine cat apprentice of BirchClan, and Dawnpaw had to continue on the road to becoming a warrior.
When it was almost time for the two apprentices to recieve their full names, something bad happened. She had been hunting, it was Dawnpaw and Stormpaw. They were out in the forest on their own. It was their final test. But Stormpaw turned out to be the prey of a hungry fox. Unfortunatley she couldn't fight it off, and she died. Her mentor hadn't gotten there in time to help.
Her family mourned for Stormpaw. She would never become the medicine cat, or a warrior. Her mother took the hit hard. She now only had two kits, Blackstripe and Dawnpaw. And Dawnpaw recieved her name two days after the attack.
warrior Dawnpaw recieved the name Dawnheart. They gave her that name as she was always bright-spirited and she had a big heart. The name suited her well, and she liked it. That night in the warriors den was hard for her. She had to lay there without the comfort of her sister laying by her. Instead it was now Blackstripe, Nightfur, and Moonsong who lay by her on all sides. At least she still had most of her family.
Dawnheart didn't really like being a warrior. It reminded her everyday of her lost sister. It didn't make her feel good at all that she got to be a warrior and Stormpaw never got the chance. But she pushed through the days.
Dawnheart never really worried about finding a mate. Her mother always fretted about it. She figured that if she needed a mate, he would show up someday. Plus, she was aiming to become deputy, and she couldn't have kits and be deputy. So she rejected all males until she found the perfect mate. This never happened though for Dawnheart.
Sample RP Dawnkit padded back and forth in the nursery, wishing that her father would bring the prey already. She was starving, and Stormkit wouldn't play with her. Instead she was lazily laying in the moss nest next to her mother. Sleeping.
Dawnkit shook her black pelt out, then scanned the nursery with her bright yellow eyes. Why was she the only cat in her family to hold the yellow eyes? The rest of her family had forest green eyes, something she wished she also had. That was the only way you could tell her and her sister apart.
Dawnkit was small, even for a kit. She would never grow to be very large. This was also different about her, her family was tall and long. She was long, but short. And also very skinny.
She grew excited when her father walked in. But dissapointment almost made her hiss. Where was the food? "Fresh-kill pile's empty. I'm going to hunt." What? How was it possible that it was empty, it was never empty before. It was leaf-bare and the she-kit didn't understand that prey waas hard to come across during the winter season. She soon would though. Sighing, she lay down next to her mother and sister and waited.
You call me by the name I’ve lied I meet in secret with those who’ve died Though life is not’ but treachery This life is all the life in me
