[/b]: Protector of the Pharaoh, Bast is the personal guard of the royal family.
THE LAWS OF THE CULT
- The Pharaoh's word is law.
- The Phae is the only true mate of the Pharaoh. He may have kits with as many she-cats in his harem as he wishes, but his sole mate is the Phae.
- The Phae is to be chosen at birth for the next Pharaoh, though if she dies, the Pharaoh may choose his own Phae.
- Only the Phae's ablest firstborn male may be considered to be future Pharaoh.
- A kit's role is chosen at birth.
- When the next Phae is chosen, once she is weaned she shall live with the royal family to learn their rules.
- The Healer and Pharaoh decide what role each kit will have within the Cult.
- Kits shall be either hunters, protectors, or fighters.
- One kit born to a cat of high rank will be chosen as the next and trained by their parent to take over that position. The rest of the kits shall be given a position of hunter or protector.
- At the Pharaoh's discretion, there shall be two meetings at dawn.
- The first will be for the Pharaoh and those of rank to discuss the Cult and current issues. The second will be for the Pharaoh to address the Cult as a whole.
- Cats of rank may request an audience with the Pharaoh whenever necessary. Cats of a lower rank must report to those of a higher rank first.
- If an outsider wishes to join the Cult, they must prove themselves by killing someone close to them.
- Cats for the Harem have a choice of joining willingly, but if they are chosen by the Pharaoh, they have no choice.
- If the Phae is unable to have kits, a kit of the strongest cats and purest blooded in the Cult will be chosen to be raised by the royal family as the next Pharaoh.
- When a she-cat becomes pregnant, she moves into the nursery area and becomes a Hathor.
- It is the healer's duty to help with delivery of kits.
- Only the Anubis and its Khe are to prepare the body of the dead. They shall be prepared with only evergreen branches to wrap the body, and food for the afterlife.
- When a kit is born it is given a dot on its back with paint to symbolize its birth.
- As a kit progresses through the ranks, they receive more dots of berry juices.
- Kits born and chosen for a high rank shall receive scars.
- Before battles, paint shall be placed on those fighting.
- When the current Pharaoh dies his son shall inherit his name. The same is with all high ranks.
- A writing system is upheld, using roman numeral styles.
- Cats of a high rank, excluding the head Hunter and Protector, have their mates chosen by the current Phae. All other cats may choose their own mates.
- Cult cats must not breed with any but other Cult cats.
- Should a cat mate with one outside the Cult, the kits will be taken from them and given to the Clan to raise. Should the Clan not want to raise them, they and their mother shall be exiled.
- Cats of the Royal Family may breed with any cat they wish, in order to keep the blood lines pure.
- Kits that are born half-Cult may be chosen to be kept by the Cult, if they show benefit for the Cult.
- Kits become Khe at four months old. Each rank has its own mentor.
- If the current Pharaoh retires, he shall be exiled and considered dead in order for the new Praa to obtain his powers and gain control.
- If a cat of rank retires (other than the Pharaoh) they lose all powers and revert to being a normal cat. Then their heir takes on the full powers of the rank.

CULT RANK POWERS
These are powers that cats of a certain rank have.
- The Pharaoh has no loss of power, since he is the son of a God, or so believed. However, he is frequently not very deep on an emotional level, as his ability to speak to the Gods leaves him almost alienated to the real world. After speaking to the Gods, the Pharaoh is silent for a full day and night to ensure he mulls over what he learns.
- The Ra is able to see prophecies in the sun, but not able to see in the dark very well, if at all, unlike most cats.
- The Anubis is able to speak to the dead/go to the land of the dead, but is unable to form strong relationships with the living. If they have kits it is most often a technical thing with no real love or connection. The Anubis is a very secluded cat. Password is: Highland Cow
- Wadjets have strength, yet lose speed because of it, making them slow and fumbling sometimes. Their paws may feel like stones when they overuse their strength.
- The Toth is able to write, unlike most cats, but is mute due to this.
- Basts have the ability to cast their senses out to sense danger around the royal family, but can only sense an area of one fox length around their bodies when not directly around the royal family. This makes them rather useless hunters.
- Satets have exceptional eyesight for hunting, but lack power and their hearing is compromised. They have a tendency to go blind later in life.
- Sekhmets are able to speak to their Gods, Starclan and the Dark Forest, however they lose their memory of the last twenty-four hours in order to focus on what they learned in the place from the gods and other cats.
*Phae's are able to see the bonds between cats and animals, how strong they are or how weak. However it would make the cat a poor fighter because she could see the bond she would be breaking by injuring a cat. She would know if she were killing a mate, parents, or kit. - Ptahs (low-ranking protectors) can have a burst of strength, however it fades quickly and makes them incredibly weak afterward for at least two hours.
- Ma'ats (low-ranking hunters) have better eyesight and are able to see only slightly better than normal cats. However, they may go blind early in life.
